HIKING FOR FITNESS SERIES
Hiking for fun...and wellness
We will start with a beginner friendly hike of 7-10km, with up to 300m of elevation gain. By the end of the program we will be ready to tackle 13-15km, with up to 600m elevation.

Participants:
CAD $395 for all 5 sessions + applicable taxes

Itinerary and Gear
Planned Itinerary
The first week (orientation):

8:30am:
Meet your guide at Elevation Place in Canmore, AB.
Map to Elevation Place* The Summer Evening Series will start at 5:45pm

8:45am:Drive to trailhead. Due to COVID-19 everyone is expected to drive themselves unless from the same household.

3:30pm:
Arrive back at the trailhead.
*The Summer Evening Series will aim to be back to the cars by 10:30pm
The following weeks:

8-9:00am:
You will receive an email with instructions on how to meet at the trailhead. The meeting time will change based on the location of the hike (approximately between 8-9:00am). Each week the trail will be chosen based on the groups fitness level. We also avoid trails that people in the group have hiked before. The goal is take you on progressively harder hikes while showing you new areas so that you can go out and explore on your own!
*The Summer Evening Series will start between 5:45-6:15pm
Level of Difficulty
This series is designed for those looking to build their fitness and HAVE FUN!!! The hikes are geared towards the whole group, no one will be left behind.

Kananaskis Country Conservation Pass or National Park Pass depending on where we hike each week
